Burning Arab World

''Burning Arab World'' (''Ce monde Arab qui brûle!'') was written by Samir Méhalla, journalist and editorial director of the Algerian national economic newspaper 'Crésus'. This book contains Méhalla's interview to René Naba—specialist journalist on the Arab world. ''Burning Arab World'' was published by Edizioni Myra and is a didactic, pedagogical and historic work that describes the politics of the Arab world from the 70s to today. It delves into historical events to explain the situation, the people, and the regimes. The memories of the leaders of Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Palestine, Yemen and other countries are narrated with objectivity, but also in terms of the professional and personal experience of the journalist.
René Naba closely frequented all the politicians who contributed to make the Arab world what it is today. This document narrates many of the facts that are still unknown today, or which have not been discussed by the media. Quoting from René Naba: ‘One day I was at the AFP in Paris. At the reception, I was told that someone wanted to see me.It was Abdelaziz Bouteflika in a car. He told me: "Here I am unjustly accused of misappropriation, and I would like to pass my report to the AFP. An attacked public figure has the right to reply."
